Aviation English, rated by aviators
ICAO Level 4, 5 and 6 language proficiency exams for pilots, controllers, crew, technicians and drone operators. Booked online, taken on screen with a live examiner.
Who we are
Set up by people who fly and control traffic for a living, tired of language tests about holidays and hobbies.

So the exam is built from job situations: a go-around in gusting wind, a medical on board, a runway incursion, a drone where it should not be.
The examiner knows phraseology, and knows when plain English takes over. Every exam is recorded and kept for at least five years for review and audit, as ICAO requires.
What the examiner rates
The six ICAO descriptors

The levels
Levels 4, 5 and 6 endorse a licence. Each one lasts a different time.
The exam itself
